Australian dollar lower on ECB rate cut talk

THE Australian dollar is lower, as expectations of an interest rate cut from the European Central Bank grow.

At 0630 AEST on Thursday, the local unit was trading at 93.79 US cents, down from 93.98 cents on Wednesday.
